Flipkart's flagship festive sale opened to everyone on October 9 — what to know before you buy
Big Billion Days (BBD) is Flipkart's biggest sale of the year and one of India's best-known online shopping events. It covers smartphones, laptops, PCs, televisions, earbuds, smartwatches, refrigerators, washing machines, smart home devices, home essentials and fashion.
For 2026, Flipkart confirmed that the sale opens to all users on 9 October 2026. Flipkart Plus, Flipkart Black and VIP members, along with Flipkart credit card holders, got early access from 8 October. That makes BBD 2026 noticeably later than last year, when the sale began on 23 September — a shift that keeps it closer to Diwali on 8 November 2026.
