Mumbai, October 21, 2026: The investigation into the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has taken a significant turn, with the arrest of four additional suspects allegedly linked to the supply of weapons and logistical support for the attack.

The accused have been identified as Kunal, 21, and Sumit, 19, from Haryana's Sonipat district, and Radha, 23, and Babita, 23, from Uttar Pradesh. The arrests were made by the Delhi Police Special Cell in Delhi and Haryana on October 20, following which Maharashtra Police sought their custody for further interrogation.

Investigators suspect that the four played supporting roles in the alleged operation, including arranging weapons, transporting firearms and assisting those involved in the shooting. Their precise individual roles remain subject to investigation.

The arrests follow the earlier apprehension of three alleged shooters in Rajasthan, taking the investigation beyond the immediate attackers to the wider network suspected of facilitating the incident.

According to investigators, Radha and Babita allegedly travelled by train to Mumbai carrying a firearm and ammunition before handing them over to a person connected with the operation. Police are examining the alleged movement of the weapon from Punjab to Mumbai and the role of intermediaries who may have coordinated its delivery.

Investigators are also looking into the suspected use of encrypted messaging applications to communicate and coordinate activities among individuals allegedly involved in the operation.

The investigation has extended across several states as police reconstruct the movement of the suspects, the transportation of the weapon and the arrangements made before and after the shooting.

Authorities are working to establish who supplied the firearm, who organised the alleged operation and whether additional individuals helped the accused evade arrest.

A new angle in the investigation concerns reports that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan may have been the original target before the alleged attackers shifted their focus to Tiger Shroff.

According to police sources cited in media reports, the suspects allegedly conducted reconnaissance near Khan's residence in Mumbai but reconsidered their plan because of the stringent security arrangements. Shroff was reportedly selected as an alternative target.

These claims have not been established through a final judicial finding, and the investigation is continuing to determine the motive behind the attack.

The reported connection has renewed attention on security concerns involving prominent Bollywood personalities, particularly amid investigations into threats and alleged criminal networks targeting celebrities.
