According to media reports, the incident took place around 7 pm as Shroff was leaving the area after attending an event and playing football. Two assailants allegedly approached the vehicle and fired several rounds before fleeing on a motorcycle with an accomplice.

Shroff escaped without life-threatening injuries, although reports indicated that he suffered minor abrasions from shattered glass. His driver, identified as Firdaus, sustained a gunshot injury to his hand, while another person nearby was also reportedly injured.

One of the most striking details to emerge from the footage is Shroff taking control of his car after his driver was injured. Videos reportedly show the actor moving into the driver's seat and driving away to get medical assistance for the injured driver.
