Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has made a strong theatrical debut following its release on October 2, 2026.

According to trade figures cited by The Times of India, the film earned approximately ₹66.75 crore net in India on its opening day. Its India gross was estimated at ₹80.10 crore, while overseas markets contributed around ₹15 crore, taking the worldwide opening-day gross to approximately ₹95.10 crore.

The film therefore came close to the much-anticipated ₹100 crore worldwide opening milestone.

The opening has also become a significant box-office milestone for Ajay Devgn.

With an India net opening of around ₹66.75 crore, Drishyam 3 has surpassed the opening-day collections of his previous major releases, including Singham Again, which opened at around ₹43.70 crore.

The film also comfortably outperformed the opening days of the earlier Drishyam films.

The 2015 Drishyam opened at approximately ₹5.85 crore, while Drishyam 2 recorded around ₹15.38 crore on its first day in India.

The thriller recorded an overall Hindi 2D occupancy of approximately 67.08% on its opening day.

According to reported figures, occupancy increased throughout the day, moving from about 46% during morning shows to more than 76% during night screenings.

The strong evening and night turnout contributed significantly to the film's opening-day numbers.

Drishyam: The Conclusion brings back Vijay Salgaonkar, played by Ajay Devgn, and his family.

The story continues after the events of Drishyam 2, with the family once again facing renewed pressure from the law.

This time, a new police officer, Rajveer Tomar, played by Jaideep Ahlawat, takes charge of the investigation. Unlike the officers who previously failed to crack Vijay's carefully constructed story, Rajveer believes he has new evidence capable of breaking through the family's defence.

The central conflict once again revolves around Vijay's ability to stay ahead of the investigation.

The film brings together Ajay Devgn, Jaideep Ahlawat, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Rajat Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav.
