
JWST Discovers "Black Hole Star," a New Class of Cosmic Object
Astronomers using the James Webb Space Telescope have identified a previously unknown type of astrophysical object, nicknamed a "black hole star," where a supermassive black hole is enshrouded in a dense, glowing envelope of gas rather than a conventional accretion disk.
