Bitcoin Slides Below $76,000 as Crypto Market Cap Falls 2.59%; XRP, Solana and Shiba Inu Lead Declines
The cryptocurrency market faced renewed selling pressure on Wednesday as major digital assets traded lower. Bitcoin stood at $75,912.10, down 2.14%, while Ethereum fell 3.43%. XRP recorded one of the sharpest declines among major tokens at 7.43%. The crypto weakness comes as global markets contend with elevated oil prices, rising U.S. Treasury yields and uncertainty ahead of the Federal Reserve's policy decision. Wall Street ended lower on September 15, while crude prices remained above $107 a barrel and the U.S. 10-year Treasury yield moved above 5%.
