Former Punjab Minister Chuni Lal Bhagat Dies at 93 in Jalandhar
Chuni Lal Bhagat, a former Punjab cabinet minister and senior BJP leader, died in Jalandhar at 93. He represented Jalandhar South and later Jalandhar West in the Punjab Assembly and held several important ministerial portfolios. He also served as Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly and led the BJP Legislature Party in the Assembly from 2012 to 2017.
