Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, putting on-device and agentic AI at the centre of its next-generation smartphone platforms. The new chips are designed to run AI models locally, improve gaming and camera performance, and enable smartphones to understand context and perform tasks with less reliance on the cloud.
