Veteran Hindi film actor Mushtaq Khan passed away in Mumbai on Thursday, September 24, at the age of 75. The actor had been undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital after health complications related to cancer, according to reports citing people close to him.
Khan had a career spanning more than three decades and became a familiar face in Hindi cinema through supporting and comic roles. His film credits include Welcome, Aashiqui, Hera Pheri, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Stree 2.
Among the tributes following the actor’s death, Rajpal Yadav shared an emotional account of his final meeting with Mushtaq Khan.
Yadav said he visited Khan on Thursday afternoon, where the two spoke and shook hands. According to Rajpal, Khan was responding to their conversation at the time.
