CBSE Date Sheet 2027: Class 10, 12 Timetable Not Out Yet, Likely by Mid-November; Private Candidate Forms Close October 23
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet released the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam date sheet for 2027, but a release is widely expected in the coming weeks. As of the latest reports, no official timetable is available on cbse.gov.in, even as registration for private candidates is already under way.
Is the CBSE date sheet 2027 out?
No. Careers360's live coverage and other trackers say CBSE has not announced the date or time for publishing the Class 10 or Class 12 timetable, and one tracker confirmed that no timetable was on the official site as of October 9, 2026.
When could it come out?
CBSE has not given an official release date, so timing is an estimate based on past years:
- For the 2026 exams, CBSE issued a tentative date sheet on September 24, 2025 and the final date sheet on October 30, 2025.
- The 2025 date sheet was released on November 20, 2024.
- Based on that pattern, trackers expect the 2027 timetable between late October and mid-November 2026.
Expected exam schedule
These are expectations, not official dates:
| Exam | Expected window |

| Class 12 board exam | February to March or April 2027 |
| Practicals, winter-bound schools | November to December 2026 |
| Practicals, other schools | January to February 2027 |
Class 10 students have a two-exam system, with the second exam meant for those who want to improve their scores in up to three subjects. Class 12 stays a single annual exam. For reference, the first Class 10 paper began on February 17 in 2026 and on February 15 in 2024 and 2025.
Registration details: private candidates
CBSE has started accepting application forms for private candidates appearing in the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for 2026-27. According to Careers360, form filling for private students closes on October 23. Candidates should check cbse.gov.in for the full eligibility criteria, documents and fees, which this story does not list.

Beware of fake date sheets
Fake timetables have circulated on WhatsApp in past years, and CBSE's controller of examinations has previously called one such document fake and not official. Students and parents should rely only on cbse.gov.in. Any "tentative" tables on third-party sites are predictions, not official dates.
